Eco Group supports Wales in Bloom in local community
Senior members of our Eco Group supported the local community in their Wales in Bloom presentation. Glan-y-Môr's project was the design of a community garden on the site of Twm's Shop and Cinema. Sean Dunn, who created the design, said it was inspired by images of old cinema film and the 95th anniversary. He researched plants that would thrive near the coast and also attract pollinating insects. Others meeting the judge were Katrina Davies and William Roetzer, who have been members of the Eco Group since they came to Glan-y-Môr, and Stephanie Marks, Eco Coordinator.
